CORNO PORTAFORTUNA - Horn that brings luck
Originally carved by artisans in Naples Italy, this horn-shaped pendant was, and still is by many, believed to offer protection from the evil eye, to ward off bad luck. It is also believed to promote fertility and virility.
There are many stories about where this shape originated, and its symbolism, ranging from roots in Italy as well as Greek and Roman mythology. One legend has it becoming a symbol of fertility and the earth after Zeus broke a horn from a goat.
We love the shape and we love its history - CORNO PORTAFORTUNA is handcarved in Deer Antler Bone. It is a beautiful piece with movement and form and looks fantastic in this natural material. The pink colours on some of these pendants are natural colours with the Deer Antler, making these very unique and even more eye-catching!
This is the perfect pendant to gift someone close to you, someone facing a challenge to give them strength and comfort - this is a positive pendant!
We have three sizes available - Small, Medium and Large. Please use the drop-down menu to select the size you'd like.
