A stunning and visually powerful pendant carved from Sugilite - a beautifully coloured and nuanced stone. This piece depicts two people engaging in a hongi - a traditional Māori greeting where the noises are pressed lightly together and for a moment in time two people share their breath.
HOONGI has been polished to a soft matte finish - perfect for this particular piece of stone. This final treatment highlights the changes in structure and colour in the stone.
